The big leagues in fashion
Louis Vuitton is a French luxury company considered the most valuable brand in the world. And now Mexican artists have reflected their talent and works of art in brand items.
With animals such as Tonas and Nahuales, briefcases and trunks of the French brand are illustrated. These animals are related to the day and year in which a person is born. As well as the jaguar, eagle, rabbit, deer, turtle and monkey.
Each painting designed by artisans represents a deep ancient symbolism. The designs made are a representation of the artisan process, the inheritance, the symbolism of nature and art.
Mexican artists work
Mexican artists will put the name of their culture, community and country very high. The pieces made will be sold for hundreds of dollars because the colors, art, talent, imagination and history is something that only a Mexican artisan can do. The pieces will be available for sale at the brand’s boutiques.
Congratulations to the Mexican artisans, their work and art are properly appreciated by the French brand. Let us remember that at the end of last year a new law was presented to guarantee, protect and recognize the work and the right of indigenous peoples to the elements of their culture and identity.
