In the state of Baja California, the Guadalupe canyon is located in the Sierra Cucapá. It is a site characterized by its hot springs and fresh vegetation. For the same reason, they also know it as “Oasis in the desert”.
It is a perfect place to relax surrounded by beautiful landscapes and where nature reigns completely. In fact, you can only listen to music to yourself, although once there, you will want to enjoy its silence and stillness. There is nothing like observing the vegetation and fauna that inhabit this incredible setting.

Camp and enjoy in Guadalupe Canyon
There are also camping areas and, at night, you will be surprised by the number of stars you will see. And you do not have to worry about anything, as the staff will take care of giving you all the directions. In addition, they have a cafeteria and even a souvenir shop.
The Guadalupe Canyon has a balance between heat and humidity, thanks to its waterfalls and natural cold water pools. Another place to visit is Laguna Salada, the lowest part of Mexico. By the way, did you know that a Resident Evil movie was filmed there?
Hidden in the mountains
To get to the Guadalupe Canyon you must take the Tijuana-Mexicali highway. From there you go down the Rumorosa up to where it is signed as: Valle de Guadalupe. Then, take the dirt road to Laguna Salada.
And remember, it is an excellent option for hiking as a couple or in a group. So, if you love adventure and great natural spaces, you definitely have to visit the Guadalupe Canyon.
