From Chiapas to New York
The traditional Mexican dishes offered by the chef born in Chiapas have impressed thousands of New Yorkers.
And as if that were not enough, Casa Enrique is responsible for giving its best flavors to the point of obtaining a Michelin star. The greatest culinary recognition in a chef’s career.
So far, Cosme Aguilar’s restaurant has three Michelin stars. Positioning it in the only Latin American food site with this great distinction.
Casa Enrique, mom’s taste
Most of the recipes prepared by the chef from Chiapas were learned from his mother. Because there is no better chef in this world than a Mexican mom.
Cosme Aguilar was born in Cintalapa, Chiapas, and it was in 1998 that he emigrated to New York. And without receiving any academic training, his dedication and passion for cooking led him to where he is now.
Casa Enrique has been positioned as the best Mexican food restaurant in New York thanks to Cosme. Also, by his brother Luis and businessman Winston Kulok.
The small restaurant is rather long. At the entrance there is the bar of the place. The perfect place to wait while you get a table.
As for the decoration, this is quite simple. Well, although it is a place of Mexican food, the color that stands out is white. From the walls, tables, to the chairs.
If you are in New York and want to have a good time while enjoying Mexican food, this is the perfect place. Well, like anywhere in Mexico, the tables have the traditional guacamole, tortilla chips and sauces.
